Kracie Sea Animal DIY Gummy Kit

A few days ago I got to make the Kracie sea creature/ocean world gummy DIY kit! I did it in the evening so sorry if the pictures aren't as good as usual!

The packaging looks very cute, with a dolphin, clownfish and a turtle. The packet contained the following items:

A little tray with the shapes of a whale, angelfish, starfish and some sort of sea worm. It also contained a tiny fork.

Three powder packets. You pour the white package's powder into the little tray on the left site where it shows so you make the special water to pour over the powder that you put in the gummy shapes. The blue and red powders are the flavors that you put into the tray with the animal shapes.

A little foil sheet that has a cute image on it where you can lay the gummies on! They come in four different pictures I believe.

I chose to do it the easy way and just make it one whole color except for the sea-worm ish thing. I had fun evening out the powder and it even was calming in a way.

You really see the powder changing color when you put the special water on the soon-to-be gummies! You should let them sit for about two minutes and try to softly get them out of the tray with the tiny fork that was included with the kit. I didn't have any problems removing the whale and angelfish but my sea worm broke and the starfish didn't really want to get removed either!

I made these gummies two times, the second time somewhat more successful. The powder kept sticking to the bottom the first time so it has a white powdery look to the first gummies, but the second batch looked alot better! I mean, a whale with a blue body and red tail is awesome, right?

The gummies had a nice taste to them aswell. The red gummy was grape flavored and the blue gummy was more of a Ramune flavor. I liked the blue gummies the most because I'm a huge fan of Ramune. This kit was really fun to make and very easy too!

Stay tuned for more reviews later this week! ^^

American snack: Chips Ahoy! Candy Blasts.

A few days ago I got to try an American product that I never had before, called
Chips Ahoy! Candy Blasts. They're chocolate chip cookies that also contain small colored chocolate fudge pieces.

One pack of these cookies is quite big! 351g so you get alot of cookies. But before you know it you've finished them all. The packaging is great, I like the colorful look of this.

The cookies look great aswell! Somewhat like regular chocolate chip cookies but the colorful pieces in them make them look even more appealing! They taste great aswell, they're not too crunchy except for the colorful pieces, but the chocolate really comes through and the colorful bits somewhat taste different from the chocolate but very yummy too. Probably the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had, no kidding! I give these awesome cookies a 10/10 because they totally deserve it!

Stay tuned for more updates soon including a review about Chex mix Cheddar flavor, Chex mix original, Kracie ocean creature gummy kit, and lots more!

Tokyo Treat Premium box, august 2015, Pt. 2

Today i'm finally finishing up tasting stuff from the Tokyo Treat Premium August box.

The next item that i wanted to try was the Look-A-La-Mode chocolates. They came in 4 different flavors. Banana, almond, strawberry and caramel. The packaging of the chocolates was really pretty!

When you open the little box you're greeted by the different flavors and in what rows they are.

When i opened the foil around the chocolates I got to see these tiny, adorable chocolates. However some of them were a bit white, probably due to climate changes and because the weather's been quite hot in my country in the past month. They also melted a bit but that's the risk with chocolate! The first chocolate that I tried was banana. The banana flavor was really powerful and also a little bit sour, I didn't really get to taste the chocolate, It was alright but definitely not as good as the Torotto banana flavored chocolates. The second one that I tried was almond, however I didn't really taste the almond in it at all! Definitely not as powerful as the banana flavor. The third one that I tasted was strawberry, I really liked that one! Not as powerful as the banana flavor but it's very tasty and like a sweet strawberry. I got to really taste the chocolate itsself on this one but I wasn't really impressed by it. The last one was caramel. Again not really tasting the caramel in it, and it's reaaally sweet. I've never really been too fond of chocolate, and I really don't like these ones that much either. all in all I give all four flavors together a 6/10, with strawberry being the best in my opinion.

The second item that I tried probably was the most favorite item in this month's box. These cookies are called Frozen Country Ma'am's White Bear, and I believe this is a limited edition product. The packaging looks great, with a big fruity dessert on the front.

I was actually quite surprised to see that the cookies were individually wrapped! I like the color scheme of the wrappers, it really makes me think of a desert when seeing this.

I tried one of the cookies unfrozen, it was alright. Very soft and mushy, I really prefer hard cookies over soft ones, especially when they're chocolate chip ones. These cookies contain tiny bits of chocolate chips, and some sort of fruity center to it. I really tasted some raisins in it aswell. The cookies were way better frozen though! They're really crunchy and obviously very cold, which makes it really great to eat on a hot summer day! The flavoring is fruity, but chocolatey aswell. A great cold snack to eat! I gave these wonderful cookies a 10/10!

The next product that I tried were these Meiji Mr. Sushi Chef's Gummies DIY. The packaging is adorable, and it also describes which flavors are in this little kit. I was curious to open this and make some sushi myself!

Tah-Dah! There were a few more into the packaging but they all sticked together and i couldn't seperate them. But they look adorable when finished! They're really soft and stretchy gummies. They're very chewy and sweet, but the flavors on them are lovely. I didn't really like the banana flavor (rice base) but the plum (red sushi) and lemon (yellow sushi) flavors were truely sweet but amazing. I had fun assembling them! I gave these an 8/10!

The next product that I tried was the Mochi Taro (salt flavor). It's a dagashi snack (traditional japanese), and they're fried. The illustrations on this packaging is cute and looks quite traditional.

The looks on them is simple and plain, a puffy, fried rice snack. The taste is alright, Nothing too special but they're simple and salty. I even found a tiny peanut in my packaging! They're light and salty, I wasn't really a fan of them but they're alright.

And last but certainly not least, the Fruit-flavored jelly (orange flavor). The packaging is nothing too special.

The smell of it when you open it is pretty strong of orange. And of course it's really jiggly! When you take a bite of it it's really jiggly, and the texture is so weird together with a solid firm piece of orange! it's tasty nonetheless. I give this fruit jelly a 7/10.

This was my first ever japan snack unboxing! Stay tuned for Tokyo Treat Premium box September and more DIY kits and other american/japanese snacks! :)

Tokyo Treat Premium box, august 2015

Yesterday I received my first Tokyo Treat premium box. I was surprised to see that it arrived this quickly, Because the site showed that I was in group B of the subscribers and that I was going to recieve the box at around the third/fourth week of August. I was very excited and couldn't wait to open this!

When I opened the box i was greeted by this cheerful and nice looking flyer of various snacks and candies that you are able to buy in Japan. This made me even feel more excited to see what's inside!

When you turn around the flyer it shows a spreadsheet of the items that are included in this box. The small box ($14,99) has the left row, the regular box ($24,99) has the left and middle row, and the premium box ($34,99) has all three rows included in the box.

I was very curious to try these, the Torotto Chocolate & Banana flavor. The great part is that it really doesn't melt in your hand when you hold it! and the smell that comes off them is just delicious, so i dove directly into these.

The look of them is somewhat dull, but don't let that fool you! They're just square shaped chocolates.

However, the texture of them is great! When you bite into the chocolate it really crumbles into your mouth, and the sweet banana flavor gets it's chance to take over and blow you away. This is handsdown one of the best chocolates I've had in a very long time! This will be your long-time favorite if you're also a fan of the artificial banana flavor. I give these ones a 9/10.

The next item that i really wanted to try were these Peach flavored Potato Chips! It sounds so strange and weird but when you open the bag a very gentle peach flavor escapes. Not disturbing at all.

The chips itsself looks quite normal, but when you put them in your mouth you're actually in for a surprise. You get to taste a sweet peachy flavor, but the texture of the chip is what makes it quite odd, I really did like them though! The flavor isn't that strong so it just leaves a peachy, potato-ey flavor in your mouth. Strange, but very tasty! I give these a 7/10.

The next thing that i tried were these corn balls, with a limited edition Texas Corn flavor. I really did like the look of the bag, it's so adorable with the squid on it! It should resemble Takoyaki balls, but i couldn't really see that to be honest.

When i opened the bag i was greeted by these little puff balls, it weren't really that many but that shouldn't bother you if they taste great.

The texture is just like a corn puff ball, but only a tiny bit chewier. The seasoning on it didn't thrill me at all, it's rather dull tasting and it hasn't really got alot of flavor on them. I expected some more flavor on these but it kind of let me down on that. I gave these a 5/10.

The next thing that the box contained was this Kracie DIY Metamorphosis Millet Jelly. You're supposed to mix the two liquids together to create a jelly-like foam, and to top it off you add some sort of grape sauce to it. I didn't have the time to make this one yet but i will later and post the result!

The next item that i was curious to open was this One Piece illustration gums.  I'm not really a fan of Anime myself, but this box contained a poster which was quite large and it looked really good, i ended up giving it away to my friend.

However, I was really dissapointed to see what else it contained! 4 tiny balls of chewing gum. Oh well, the poster did make up for it though. I tasted the pink ball and it had a slight taste of Ramune (soda) but the taste dissapeared very quickly, leaving behind a very chewy mass of flavorless gum. The green ones tasted like apple and the yellow one tasted like pineapple. I gave these a 4/10.

The next thing that i tried was this Disney's Pop Can Drink Mix lollipop. I was so happy to see that my box contained the lollipop with the Stitch packaging! I've always been a huge fan of Stitch so i squealed a little when i saw this.

The lollipop itsself was super adorable aswell, shaped like Mickey Mouse. those ears are adorable! The flavor of the lollipop is very grapey, but a bit creamy aswell, Very tasty! I gave this a 8/10.

The next item that i tried were these Heart Chip-a-roos (heart shaped chips). It's more like a puffy heart shaped Chip instead of the potato-ey chip.

They're somewhat shaped like hearts, but the taste of them is really amazing! It has lots of spices on it, and you can really taste the garlic, It's not sweet or whatsoever, very savory. I could easily devour the entire bag at once! I gave these a 9/10.

The next item that i tried was called Hi-Chew Grand Prix Peaches. I haven't really been a fan peaches or of Hi-Chew since i first tried it but i wanted to try these anyways.

They have a very light pink color to them, and they are very chewy. The flavor was alright, it was peachy but i didn't really get the taste of that cream. They really keep their flavor until you finish them though! I gave these a 6/10.

The next thing that i was eager to try was the Frog's Exciting Picture Book gummies! The packaging itsself is so adorable, and it explains what type of gummies are inside of it.

The packaging contains alot of Frog 'eggs', tadpoles and grown frogs. The grown frog has three different shapes. The eggs and tadpoles really taste quite strongly of grape, but i can't really describe the taste of the grown frog to be honest. There's a light coating of some sort of powder on them so they don't get sticky, but they're very tasty and chewy! i gave these an 8/10.

The next item that i tried were these Frozen Double Cast chocolate wafer cookies. The look of the packaging is so much fun! Frozen fans will surely love these.

The taste of them wasn't anything too exciting, they're tasty, and the wafers have two fillings, one half is filled with chocolate and one is filled with vanilla, I really liked the vanilla flavor the most. I gave these a 7/10.

This month's box contained two bonus items! One of them was a sushi gachapon. Mine had a cute set of erasers. It contained a drink and sushi set, although i'm not sure what the sushi is called since i never eat sushi.

The other bonus item was a small box with Cream Collon cookies!

They taste very sweet and creamy, and they dissolve rather quickly into your mouth! They're really good. i gave these an 8/10.

This was my first part of the Tokyo Treat august box, be sure to stay tuned for the second part inluding the Mochi Taro, Meiji Sushi gummy DIY, Fruit-filled jelly, Frozen country Ma'am white bear frozen cookies and Look-a-la-mode chocolate!
