Tokyo Treat Premium box, october 2015, Pt. 2
This is part two of the Tokyo Treat oct '15 box!
Neriame 'Stirring up Rain'
A traditional japanese sweet. VERY sticky sugar. It has a faint taste of apple. It's fun to play with, although you need to be careful because it's sticky and easily ends up in your clothes. Fun to play with though and kinda tasty! 8/10.
Real Grape Jellybean Mystery
Three different grape flavored candies. The package is so pretty! Very sparkly and shiny. The flavoring is quite artificial but it's really tasty if you like grape. The left one shown in the picture is round and the inside is some sort of powder, this one tastes the least like grape. The middle jellybean has the same texture of a skittle, and very strongly grape flavored, but sweet. The right jellybean is texture-wise the most like a jelly bean, also pretty sour. All in all a very fun and tasty candy! 8/10!
Marugame Noodle-Made Pretzel, Tempura Over Udon
Savory pretzel sticks. Comes with a little packet of ginger flavored powder. I immediatly threw away the packet of powder because i absolutely hate ginger flavored stuff, and sadly the pretzels weren't too great either. Nothing more to say really. 3/10.
Kintsuba Yokan (Special)
This sweet bean jelly is this month's special. I've honestly never been afraid to try something but I'm definitely not going to try this. Beans and jelly shouldn't be put together! I'm probably going to give this away to someone who's willing to try this.
Pokka Sapporo Pudding Shake
Some sort of canned pudding flavored milkshake! You need to give this a good shake before you pour it into your glass though. It had a very pleasant pudding flavor! It also has tiny bits of pudding in it. I didn't mind drinking this at all, a pleasant surprise! 9/10
Meiji's Real-Grains Jelly Kit
Another DIY kit that I've never tried! It looks really fun and I always like the texture of those tiny bubbles. I will also be making a seperate post for this one soon.
Pokémon Pretzels
Pikachu never ceases to look adorable. Great packaging! Unfortunately the pretzels didn't have much flavoring to them. They look really sweet, but they're quite dissapointing. 6/10 for these.
Well, I liked this month's box the least out of the three i've had so far. But who knows, hopefully November's box will be amazing. :) Thanks for reading and stay tuned for the DIY kit reviews!

Tokyo Treat Premium box, October 2015
It's that time of the month again! Two days ago i received my October 2015 TokyoTreat box, surprisingly fast again aswell!
Here's the flyer again with the products that this box contained. Click on the picture to enlarge. This time I will be going from small/premium.
Chocolate Animal Poo
Well, the title says it all. It's a little animal that has three different colors of poo. You can see what sort of luck you have by each color, but I don't know what my luck was since it was all written in Japanese, and the flyer didn't explain anything about the colors. Very cute though!
The chocolate itsself doesn't really taste of chocolate at all and the hard shell around the chocolate has a fruity flavor. They were yummy though! 7/10.
Seven Stick Chocolate Cream
These wafer sticks are very similar to the Elise double cast wafer cookies, but instead of two flavors it only just had a chocolate filling. I'm not a fan of these since they taste boring and dull, and the chocolate wasn't too great either! It would've been better if they put two different creams in them. 6/10.
Poifull
Probably the most popular Jelly Bean brand in Japan. I've seen this one alot but I never bought it myself. The Japanese version of Jelly Beans are way more chewy and soft compared to the US jelly beans. I prefer the Japanese version. This little package is adorable.
This version of Poifull contains four flavours; apple, lemon, grape and raspberry. I liked the raspberry flavored ones the most! The other flavors weren't too bad either, but I didn't really like the apple flavored bean. 8/10!
Ponske Ponchi Fried Snack
I literally have no idea what to think about this snack. I mean, it's the most adorable packaging i've ever seen. I think it's supposed to be a raccoon? But the snack itsself confuses me.
They're pretty big sized rice crackers, but they're actually quite sweet. I was confused because I thought they were going to be savory. I personally dislike sweet rice cracker things, so this one wasn't really a hit for me either. They would've been way better if they were salty or if they just had some spice to them. 5/10.
Wasabi Pretzels
Oh lord, here it goes again.. I absolutely dislike wasabi flavored stuff, and I was actually quite afraid to try these. They taste quite strongly of wasabi so I didn't eat more after one pretzel. I ended up giving these to my sister instead. I just don't think monthly boxes should include anything wasabi flavored! It's either you love wasabi or you absolutely hate it. 2/10.
Mochi DIY kit
This is a Mochi DIY kit which I will post in a review later this week. You don't need to do much, just put the mochi pallets down, add a tiny bit of water and dip them in the chocolate and other powder.
Chocolat De Corn
From the popular Japanese brand Caramel Corn. These are some kind of corn puffs, the texture much like those Cheetos puffs. This is the Salty Chocolate flavor version, but I couldn't really taste the salt or chocolate at all. It mostly tasted like some sort of coffee. This really dissapointed me because they look so great and chocolatey but they were nothing like it. 4/10.
Part two of this box will probably be up on tuesday! Stay tuned and thanks for reading. ^-^

Chex Mix Original & Cheddar flavor
Today I'm writing a small review about 2 flavors of Chex Mix, Original & Cheddar. This is a product from America and their site shows that they have 21(!!!) different flavors including Jalapeño cheddar, Caramel crunch, Cookies & Cream and more. They both sell savory and sweet flavors which is great! A lot of different flavors.
The first flavor that I tried was the traditional one. The bag looks kind of dull, something you really do expect for a traditional flavor I guess?
You have a few different shapes like pillows, triangles, and other shapes. The pretzel ones tasted very bland, it almost tasted as if there was no salt in them at all, I didn't really like them. The rest was okay though! I liked the pillow-shaped crisps the most because they had a lot of flavor to them, and they had a lovely crunch to them aswell. The rest was okay, I think the traditional flavor was mostly salty and with some other type of seasoning in them, but I couldn't really figure out the taste of it.
The second bag was the Chex Mix Cheddar flavor. The bag was very orange-ish colored and had a picture of cheddar cheese on the front.
These crisps had more of an orange-ish color to them. I personally dislike cheese but I somehow always seem to like products with cheese-powder rather than fresh cheese. These crisps were the same as traditional, the pretzel being boring and bland again. But the cheddar flavor on the other shapes was great! There was alot of powder on the pillow shaped crisps which made it very cheesy but great to eat if you're in a savory mood. I prefer these assorted wheat/corn crisps over a bag of potato chips any day.
Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more awesome food reviews.

Tokyo Treat Premium box, september 2015, Pt. 2
Today i'm tasting the other 7 products of the September Tokyo Treat box.
This item is called Monster stamps, the wrapper looks cute!
The stamps look adorable. They don't taste that great and they were too sweet in my opinion, but if you used them as a stamp they looked fun. I needed to press really hard though for them to be looking good on the paper and on my hand. Cute candy/toy though! 8/10.
This next item is called Baked Cookies & Cream flavored chocolate. The wrapper already tells you that though! I like the color combinations.
I didn't like these too much though, the texture is very odd and it's kind of crumbly, The flyer says that you can try them frozen too but i didn't. I didn't finish these because I thought they tasted horrible. not that creamy and nothing too special. 2/10.
I was really excited to try this item though! It's called Vegetable Oopsy-Daisy Consommé snack. the packaging is really cute with that whale on the front of it!
There were two bags in the box, both filled with tons of different shaped snacks. There were ducks, carrots, whales, tomatoes and more fun-shaped vegetable flavored snacks! I really liked the taste of them, very savory but in some way a bit vegetable flavored. The snacks are hollow on the inside, and they were quite crunchy! This was far out my favorite product out of this month's box. A solid 10/10!
I was also excited to try this product because I'm a big fan of savory snacks. These are the Pretz soy flavored pretzel biscuits. Although the packaging somewhat looks as if it could also be chocolate flavored. Kind of confusing!
One pack comes with 2 bags of pretz sticks, but all my pretz were unfortunately broken so i couldn't really take a great picture them. They had a very subtle soy flavor to them though and I absolutely loved these too since I'm a huge fan of soy sauce. But they weren't as good as the Consommé snack crisps though! 9/10.
This month's ''drink'' was a Ribbon's Jelly Grape can drink. The flyer explained; ''You must shake well before drinking to ensure that all of the flavors and contents mix up properly to give the best texture!'' They also showed that if you shake more the jelly bits would become smaller. I didn't shake that much because i love jelly and i was curious to see how it would look.
Although I really felt that this was more of a jelly snack than a drink. the texture was jelly and you could clearly see the bits in the glass. The grape flavor was quite strong though but i enjoyed this ''drink'' nonetheless. 7/10!
I was actually quite afraid to try this item, it's called Genghis Khan Caramel and supposedly you can taste the garlic lamb flavors in this caramel. The caramels are light-brown colored and I couldn't get used to the taste at all. I didn't taste the lamb, but I did taste the seasoning and garlic in this and I didn't like it at all and obviously I didn't finish this. There were 18 pieces in one pack I believe but I will probably end up throwing these away! 1/10.
Rilakkuma pretzel sticks was my last product out of this month's box. So adorable! You were able to get different characters on this box and I ended up getting this cute little chick.
The wrapper around these pretzel sticks is even more cute than the packaging itsself and these pretzels were just delicious. They had a sweet buttery flavor to them and they had a nice crunch aswell! They were so good that I want more of these! 9/10!
So that's it for this month's box. Next month will contain even more weird products *spoiler alert* like a sweet bean jelly, wasabi pretzels, Poifull, and even a canned pudding drink! Stay tuned and thanks for reading! ^-^
